After researching and digging deeper into the relationship between science and technology, I've discovered that they're not the same thing, but they are intimately connected. Science is about understanding the structures and processes in the natural world, while technology is all about practical applications of these scientific understandings. So, while technology isn't science, it wouldn't exist without it. It's like they're two sides of the same coin, each reliant on the other. Ultimately, technology counts as the application of science, but not science itself.
